WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!!
Fourth of July was a three day event....

Last year we were invited to the Cooks for a BBQ and swimming. This year we kept the tradition. They might not be here next year and then what will we do. I guess we will go boating. They have a fabulous backyard and are so willing to share. The kids swam all day and then we had a BBQ. There was fabulous food. Jordy and Heather came since they met the Cooks in Lake Powell a few weeks ago. Jordan thinks Boyd is his best friend. hehe. We loved having family there along with friends. It was a fun day in the sun. Abby was invited to go with neighbors to a different celebration. We told her to decide if fam or friends was more important on a holiday. It was a struggle for her, but in the end she came over to the party and ended up having fun. We are proud of her. I know it was a hard decision.

After Swimming and the BBQ, we showered, got in pjs and headed off to my grandparents in Riverton. They live across the street from Riverton Park. Uncle Brent, Bonnie and their kids were there. The kids ate popscicles and did sparklers before the fireworks. We love visiting with my G&G. The fireworks were awesome. Riverton does the best show every year. It took us a half hour to get home and all of my kids fell asleep. It was a long, fun day. We love the 4th of July and what it symbolizes. We love our freedoms here in America!!! We love all the men and women who died for our freedoms. My Grandpa is a vet and fought for our freedoms. Love him!!
Sunday July 4th, we went to Grammie's and Papa's for dinner with the family. We celebrated the 4th and Adri's bday. Grammie made the best banana puddin, in memory of Alli and North Carolina, with berries and strawberries for 4th of July colors. It was amazing and beautiful. The kids drew happy bday messages to Adri. They also got squirt guns and firework pops in their bday loot bags from grammie. There was not a dull moment. Water fights, pops and chalk. The kids loved it all. It was an awesome 4th. Thanks Grammie.

Since the 4th was on a Sunday, the National Holiday was Monday the 5th. I was amazed when Renn took the day off to go boating. We invited the Andersons and had an fun Utah Lake Day. The kids enjoyed swimming the most. It was a little breezy and in the low 80's. It was cold getting out of the water. Alex was the biggest trooper. She stayed out on the tube for a long time. We all had fun watching her thrown here and there. We missed Emily because she is like Alex. They could stay out playing in the water all day. Those two are fun to watch. We all had fun watching Creed drink the water. He doesn't know how to shut his mouth. Cindy did great at wake boarding, and me, I did great laying out. haha. I like it hot, the water smooth and sunny when I get in the water. Not my kind of day. Usually the 4th is one day. This year it was three. It was great sharing our freedom with our friends and family. What a weekend!!!!
