Over Conference weekend, Adri came home from school with a big bin and instructions. She was Star Student of the Week and we had to put some things together about her. She took ballet shoes, Lilly's Big Day (book), hawaii necklace, and a big poster about her. She was so excited. During the week they would choose one item above and talk about Adri. They even used her name as a learning section. They had to count the letters, vowels, and syllables in her name. Adri told me they used her whole name ADRIANNA, but she likes Adri better. She also got to be the teachers helper and the first person in line all week.
Then on Thursday, I got to go in and spend 30 minutes telling her class about Adri. Grandparents were invited, but my dad is in the hospital and Renn's parents are on their way to Kenya. I emailed my mom and dad, and got a couple of comments from Renn also. I brought a bag full of items that symbolized the memories below. Here is the run down.

***Vacations: We like to go on a lot of vacations in our family. Adri loves Lake Powell the most. We stay on a house boat and she gets to swim all day and eat whatever all day. She loves playing with the cousins and friends that go with us. She is a fish in the water and can swim on her own.
***One vacation we went to Moab and we did rock climing in a rhino type four wheeler. Our whole family was in this rhino and our brakes snapped as we were going down a steep hill. We crashed into a jeep that saved our lives. That's one of our most exciting and frightening adventures.
***Her Grandma Robison wrote this about her. Adri has always been friends and loves everyone. One day she went with me to a neighbors house. Adri didn't know them but by the time we left, she was playing with the two little girls and was having so much fun. Adri is a friend to everyone. She is a good example to me and I love her.
***Her Grandpa Robison wrote: Adri loves to go for rides on Papa's golf cart. She loves to sing songs while riding with pap and cousins. Adri never wants the ride to end. I love taking Adri on the golf cart. Love papa.
***Her dad wrote: Adri is crazy and funny sometimes. When she was five she learned to snow ski and would ski down the hills singing songs, Follow the Prophet, and not pay attention to anything around her. It was pretty cute, but a little scary. Her dad also talked about when he tricked her into surfing with him behind the boat. Adri didn't like to surf or knee board, but after that day she would quit surfing and started knee boarding.
***Adri's perfect day would be to go swimming with her friends in a pool and eat anything she wanted all day.
***Adri does dance(ballet, jazz,tap) and she does tumbling. She is doing back walkovers and is getting very good. She loves going to dance because her best friend is in her class. Adri also loves to be a rockstar. She sings and dances with a microphone in her bedroom all the time.
***Adri has one pet. It's a cute white dwarf bunny. The bunny lives in our backyard and she doesn't leave. Her name is Gracie. She is in a cage sometimes.
***Adri's best birthday was this year when she turned 7. I surprised her with a cooking party. She didn't know about it. We cooked pizza, cupcakes and decorated aprons. She had many friends and cousins over.
***Adri's best quality is smiling. Adri had to get glasses at 10 months old. Her eyes were crossed. Ever since she was a baby and could sit, she would smile at people in the grocery store. We would get 8 people at a store commetning on her cute glasses and smile.
***When Adri was little, she had a couple surgeries and was sick many times. She was a preemie baby and got sick a lot. She would always smile even when she was so sick.
The thing Adri likes most about school is recess and talking to her friends.
***Adri is a very picky eater. If she doesn't liek something, she will not eat it. If you make her, she will puke it. We can not make her eat anything unless we want a mess.
***We have some fun traditions in our family. We love to go boating, on vacations, to Roosevelt with cousins, eating homemade ice cream, buttermilk pancakes, going out to dinner, to movies, shopping, and we love the holidays with all of our family and friends. We eat lots of Sunday dinners at Grandma Robisons house. Adri loves to see the extended family and make everyone laugh.
***We love Adri and we are so happy to have her smiling self in our family. She can brighten any room up and she brightens up our lives.

Adri had ten minutes until school was over and she would not leave my side. If I am gone, she is fine. If I am there, she is not fine. It's hard to visit her at school because it's hard to leave. I waited with her for the ten minutes. She was so happy to be Star Student of the Week.

Ahhh you will LOVE all that history and facts about Adri. That was a great journal post and she will love to look back and read that!! Adri is adorable and good job girl for all the EFFORT you put into your star student.
She's so cute, I love it! It's great that she will always have that to read about what she was like when she was little.
