NELSON HOLIDAY PARTY

I love this party every year. I love my cousins and Nelson family. It was different this year because my parents were not there and Aunt Sandy was not there. Uncle Bobbie had surgery on his ear to remove cancer and Aunt Sandy was taking care of him. Aunt Sandy and Uncle Bobbie have had a rough few years fighting cancer. Hopefully this takes care of Uncle Bobbie's melanoma. Cousin Trisha came from Idaho, Jill came from Washington, and Alli came from North Carolina. It was fun to see our out of staters all together. Aunt Sherrie planned for finger foods, appetizers and desserts. My kind of meal. The food was awesome and plenty to go around. It was a fun night chatting with everyone. In one of the above pictures, Lexi is holding some ice on her face. Abby tried to curl her hair and accidentally burned her little cheek. Lexi was so brave and didn't cry. I know it hurt. Abby was so sad.

The girls and the boys did plays. They were silly and reminded me of how we use to be like that. Aunt Sherrie got picked on in one of the plays and she was a good sport. Uncle Vern had everyone send old pictures of family parties and he made a slide show. It was so fun to see all of the old pictures and how cute we use to be.

Renn talked to everyone, hugged everyone, and was so outgoing. What was going on? My girls loved holding baby Sam.

Here are most of the girl cousins and of course, Jill and I's annual Christmas picture. I love her and miss her, but when she comes home there is always a party.

Lots of the second cousins. Julie was holding baby Sam and he spit up all over her. It was so funny. She was a good sport. The kids had fun running around, playing ball and getting to know new cousins. Kaden loved Trisha's boy. They were so cute all night together. I thoroughly enjoy being with my Nelson family. All of my kids had a great time and so did Renn. Aunt Sherri stressed about the party and it was a success.

I got teary eyed at the end of the party because Alli and her fam were leaving early the next morning. We had to say our good byes. We had a fun week in between Christmas and New Years with the Bass family. We went to movies (Puss and Boots), lunch, Chuck E Cheese, ate dinner at my house, and hung out. We love when they come to town.

THis is what happened right before the family party. Weird boys. Renn had a hole in his work pants and decided to make them fun for the night. Kade copied and then the wigs came out. They made us laugh. Michelle, my cousin, told Renn his horiscope at the family party. It was something about being friendly and creative. Well, he was all of those things that night. Friendly with everyone at the party and creative with him and Kaden. Love my NELSONS!
