CAN YOU GUESS WHERE WE HAVE BEEN??????
The happiest place on earth times two....
(Disney World, BEACH)

Disney World was being decorated for Christmas. It didn't feel like Christmas in shorts.

The night we arrived in Orlando, we went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. Jordy and Heather met us there. We were starving. It was yummy and a fun time. The adults sat at one table the the kids all sat at another. One lady was furious that we would sit at different tables than our children. Renn asked her in line if she could believe what kind of parents would do that. She didn't know Renn was one of the parents. She went off. It was too funny.

Then Kaden got his arm stuck in between the chair and back of the booth. It was really stuck. It became quite the spectacle. Kaden was upset and puked a little. He couldn't move and his face was glued to the cushion. Renn told the manager to get a saw. Kaden said "No, Dad. I don't want you to cut my arm off." We all laughed. Kaden thought Renn was going to cut his arm off, but Renn really wanted to saw the wooden bench. Renn stuck some cups in the little spot and it loosened enough for Kade to get his arm out. We are so glad Kaden kept his arm because we wrote our phone number on it in Disney World, just in case he got lost. Thank heavens he never had to use it.

On Saturday, our first day, we all went to Animal Kingdom bright and early. The kids loved hugging the characters, especially Kaden. Kaden really wanted to touch Pluto. Everywhere we went he wanted Pluto. He missed him at the parade, but it was close. The lady in the righ corner looks like a branch. She was amazing and freaky to watch. Heather got a kisser from a monkey, not JORDAN.
We went on an African Safari. G & G McBride are in Africa and the kids got to see some of the animals they are seeing in Africa. Nothing chased us. As Jordan would walk through the park, he would push one of our little kids right into on coming people. It was funny to watch the people's reactions. Jordan is always joking around.
We watched Lion King in Animal Kingdom, the fun and lively parade and the kids favorite rides were the Dinosaur ride and Mt. Everest. The lines were short and the kids rode their favorite rides at least four times each. After one day at the parks, I'm already exhausted. We packed in our lunches everyday and then would eat dinner sometimes at the condo and other days out!!! We would eat on the go. We had a lot to do and lots of fun to be had!!!

Saturday night we ended up in Magic Kingdom to watch the firework show. We were at the parks from 8 a.m. till 11 p.m. The fireworks were spectacular. Our whole group ran out of there and made it before the big crowds. It was a race and a fun one too. It was one long, but fun day. We rode a couple of rides and then right to bed.

Sunday we took a break. We went to a Spanish speaking ward Sunday morning. We wore headsets with an interpreter speaking through them. It was testimony Sunday. The Spanish people filled the choir seats. When it was time for Sacrament meeting to be over, the bishop ended it with people still sitting in the choir seats. This would never happen in Utah. It was really funny. We were a little shocked. I guess it could have gone on all day.

We went to the Orlando temple after church. It's smaller like Oquirrh Mountain. The kids had fun rolling around on the grounds. The little boys have so much energy and think that they have to wrestle no matter where they are. The security man at the temple told us Shaq and Tiger Woods lived in the neighborhood behind the temple. We drove through. It was nice, but I expected much nicer. Some people in Orlando think the temple is a really nice resort!!!

We all got together and made salads, grilled pork chops, hot dogs, chicken and ate brownie sundaes for Sunday dinner. It was a nice day. We had to gear up for Park Madness on Monday.

The kids could swim all day and all night. It was fun to have cousins there to keep each other entertained. Randy has four kids, two girls and two boys and Jordan has the two little boys. Most nights we would come home from the parks and end up in the hot tub.

Monday was Hollywood Studio day formerly known as MGM Studios. I have been there three other times and this threw me off. It's the same park with a few more things added. As soon as we got there, we headed for Tower of Terror. The nice thing about going with my little family is that we can all ride the rides. My kids are brave and fearless about most things. Alex and Abby have been on Tower or Terror, but Kaden and Adri were a little hesitant. After the first time, they wanted to go on again and again. We went at least four times before heading to Aerosmith Roller Coaster.

One of my favorite pictures of the vacation was little Corbin in the top left corner. He is such a character. He entertained us constantly by his faces and "shaking his booty." Do you think he gets it from Jordan. I love that kid. So much personality.

We put Kaden in a pair of Brayden's cowboy boots and he barely made it on the Aerosmith Roller Coaster. One worker took him in the back room and measured and remeasured him. He got to go at least four times. That's an awesome roller coaster. We all loved it.

Disney World is not just about all the rides, it's about the atmosphere and the shows. It's an experience. Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite, so we had to go to the show. It was cute and short. There was an awkward moment after. One of the adults pants (ed) another adult and the pants(ed) adult hit the other adult in the goods super hard. He had tears in his eyes that's how hard the hit was. Can you picture Women doing that. Well I guess you know what gender did. I wasn't sure if they were going to brawl or makeup the rest of the trip. Somehow the day went on and everything was fine, but it was tense for a little bit. There's never a dull moment on vacation with the McBrides and Robisons.
I remember in years past when my brothers volunteered to help in this little reinactment. Well leave it to Jordan, he volunteered again and volunteered Renn. It was funny to watch. They are suppose to act like bombs are coming for them. Renn hopped on Jordan's back and then they hugged. Everyone in the audience was laughing. They are characters and very entertaining. Renn doesn't typically volunteer for stuff like that, but it was fun to watch him. I guess he hangs out with Jordy too much.
Also at Hollywood Studios, they have an awesome car/stunt show. The cars scream in and out of the set and do awesome things. Then motorcyles come in and jet skis. It was amazing to watch. They are always thinking in Disney. On our way out from the stunt show, Brayden was on Jordan's shoulders and Kaden was hitting Brayden's bottom. Brayden was trying to spit on Kaden to make him stop, but instead he spit on some innocent man in the crowd. Renn and I sat back and laughed. He kept doing it and no one was paying attention, so Renn and I enjoyed it.
Tuesday was time for Magic Kingdom. The kid's favorite rides were Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. We rode on Space Mountain as soon as we arrived at the park. It closed right after we went on it and didn't reopen the rest of the day. Kind of scary, but we were glad we got to experience it. I love the ride It's A Small World. The kids don't appreciate it and think it's boring. My kids think everything is boring unless it's fast, crazy, turning all around, upside down and scary!!!! One day they will appreciate the scenery. The rides are all experiences. SO much to see before you even get on the ride. So much detail and imagination in Disney World. I loved all the surroundings. Kade was still on his quest to see Pluto. Everynight he talked about Pluto and begged for a stuffed animal Pluto. I never knew he liked Pluto. He was obsessed.

We saw Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Buzz and almost touched Pluto again in the parade. When will it be Kade's lucky day. Kaden and Adri loved the characters and getting their autographs. It's fun to still have kids that age.
Renn always talks about Pirates of the Caribbean ride. When he was a little kids he truly thought the pirates were shooting at him and he hid under the benches in the boats. Renn has talked it up and talked it up. Kade wasn't sure if the pirates were real and shooting at him too. I told him it was pretend when he headed under the bench. After the ride, Renn said "It's not as good as it use to be." He was a kid with a big imagination back then.

Wednesday, we needed a break from the parks. When I think of vacation, I think of warm, sand, sun, water and some relaxation. I was so excited to hear about Cocoa beach from friends at home. It was the perfect get away from Orlando and only an hour. Randy and his fam came with us. Jordan and Heather went to Universal to see Harry Potterville. My kids had no desire. The beach was more up our alley. We loved laying out, playing in the sun, eating, and boogie boarding.

This is a true beach boy. Dreadlocks and underwear as a swimsuit. His dad looked the same way. We had fun watching them.
The little boys ended up having a sand/mud fight towards the end of the day. Those boys are always beating up, wrestling, fighting and someone usually ends up crying. Dalton got plowed in the eye ball with sand. He cried and cried and we made a scene at the beach. It was so sad. Can you imagine sand stuck under your eye lid. Finally we got it all out at the showers. What a way to end a fun day. We laughed about it, but felt bad at the same time. The Beach is my idea of MAGICAL!!!
Our FOURTH day at Disney was Epcot. We planned on going to Epcot for a couple of hours Thursday night, but my sister told me they had new rides. They do have new rides, but they were not as fast and crazy as my kids would have liked.
The highlight of the day was right before leaving KADEN got PLUTO's autograph. We had to wait in line for 25 minutes, but it was worth it. He hugged him tight.
We had a fun day but everyone was PARKED out and a little onery. WE WERE DONE!!!! We left early and went out for Mexican and swimming. We are going to the beach again!!!!
The dino ride was cool, but long, the new test drive ride was cool, but not crazy enough, the new space shuttle ride was cool, but kind of made ya sick. We walked halfway around the countries and then decided it was time to leave. The pic of us mama's is how we looked everyday. We all wore crazy buns and sun glasses. Yes, I can have a crazy bun now!!

We sold our 5th day hopper tickets and hopped on over to COCOA beach for round two of HEAVEN. Jordan and Heather joined us this time. We barely saw the husbands. They were on the boogie boards all day. The waves were not as good on Friday. There was a slight wind and it made the waves crazy but they still had fun in them. It was a red flag day. They are crazy and fearless. The kids got free sand toys and that kept them busy for hours.
There are so many dumb birds hanging around for food. If you drop a crumb, 100 birds will be around you. So Renn told Jordan to put food on his back or crack, and the birds would come eat it. Jordan was all over it. All along the beach, others were snapping photos and videotaping. We were laughing so hard. Adri was so scared of the birds. It was a hoot for sure. I'm so happy the men do the dumbest things to make me laugh. My stomach was sore after.

We had the best time at the beach both days. Wednesday was the most beautiful weather, but Friday was the funniest. We played hard and of course the little boys had to get in a sand fight again. It was good times.
Randy and Jenn had to leave to Miami, four hours away, that night to catch their plane. They do not vacation and they made their tickets for the wrong airport. They didn't know states had more than one airport. We had to say goodbye at the beach. It was a fun week with their family. The cousins all had so much fun. It's so fun getting to know Randy and Jenn better. It's the first time their kids have flown, been to Disney, been to a beach or even on a big family vacation. I think they will do it again. Randy and Renn are so similar. They are tight and Jordan is not. I hope Jordan didn't mind. Jordan is a Robison and I know how he thinks. I've just been brainwashed for the last 14 years. It's good and I'm not complaining. It's just funny to see Randy and Renn's personalities and ways of thinking are so similar and Jordan and I think a lot the same. I guess it's in the blood.
That night we came home and had french toast for dinner and went hot tubbing with Jordy and Heather.
Then the resort was hosting karaoke. Of course Jordy Boy wanted to go sing. He sang a song or two, made up words, danced and entertained the crowd. He is very creative when it comes to making up his own songs. We laughed and hid our heads. Then he talked Renn into singing a Bon Jovi song with him. It was so funny that Renn would go up. He has never karaoked in his life. He did pretty good. Jordy must be rubbing off on him. The back tour play and now karaoke. You'd never know Renn was an old man. He acts so young. It was a fun night.
We had to say goodbye to them because they were leaving bright and early Saturday. I love Heather and Jordan. Jordan keeps us laughing like Corbin. Brayden and Heather are along for the ride and so sweet and nice. It was an awesome vacation with awesome company.
Saturday we had till 3 p.m. to swim and play. We hung out at our many pools. The kids snacked on all the food Jordan and Randy left, played water games, had swim competitions, hot tubbed, rode the slide, played in the water park, and layed out. We know we need to capture the sun and keep it in our hearts all winter long. It snowed in Utah while we were gone and it's not going to warm up.
We stayed at a Marriot Resort that my mom and dad gifted us for Christmas. The amenities were awesome. Our rooms were very roomy and everyone slept nicely. The only thing is that in the states, the maids don't come in every day anymore, but in Mexico they still do. I miss that. In Mexico everything is spit shined, but in the states it's not as beautiful. Maybe it's cheaper work in Mexico, but I love the cleanliness there. There was a pirate boat with little slides, a water park, slide, pools, hot tubs and tons more.
FLORIDA was a great way to jump start the HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Now we are home and paying for it. We have so much homework and stuff to catch up on. It seems like it's not worth it to leave, until I blog about it and then it makes it all worth it. Next week will be Thanksgiving and we will all be caught up. THE BASS FAMILY WILL BE HERE TOO!!!
